Our Mission

Our name says it all: We want high-quality leadership and genuine accountability. The current school administration has shortchanged us for too long in both categories, and we need to look for new faces to provide the leadership and accountability that we as parents and taxpayers deserve and need.

What was Dan Mann Thinking?? (Or was he?)

Back to Business

Wellll, school is back in session, at least for now. So this site will return to its main order of business, providing reasons for rejecting the incumbent board members this November. Stay tuned. There are a lot of reasons to go over, many of them currently in progress, such as the district's approach to dealing with classroom overloads.
It is our firm belief that the supervisor's office will not take actions that are not directly supported by the three incumbents we want removed from office.
There are also many old issues which are still very relevant, such as the no-bid contracts and other financial shenanigans that got our district into trouble in the first place. Mr. Leigh especially, has been adamant that the problems date back 18 years ! And that they are on the verge of finally solving these things. Can you say "Ameresco", Jim? How about "Leased Laptops"?

Primary Election is Over.

UPDATED ELECTION RESULTS: As of 4 pm Monday, 8/27, King County elections division shows 10934 votes recorded, out of 40547 registered voters, nearly 27%. For the Shoreline School Board races the vote breakdown is as follows: In district 1, Jacobs: 54.79%, Burleigh: 23.96%, Giovengo: 20.77%. In district 5, Potter: 51.33%, Leigh: 37.37%, Bolunduro 6.73%. To read the entire results, go to: King County Elections

Field of Dreams or Stuff of Nightmares?

When you voted for the bonds, did you miss the part about cutting back the athletic programs because we couldn't afford to let kids USE the fields?

The Shoreline District just spent MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars on improvements to the athletic fields at Shorecrest- but at the same time announced they will be suspending C Team athletic programs indefinitely.
What's wrong with this picture?
